Basarnas

Basarnas, or the National Search and Rescue Agency of Indonesia, is a government agency responsible for search and rescue operations across the country. Recently highlighted for its exceptional performance, Basarnas led a joint evacuation team in response to a tragic incident involving a Brazilian climber, Juliana Marins, who fell during her ascent of Mount Rinjani. Their efforts showcased high levels of dedication and professionalism akin to that of advanced search and rescue operations internationally.
