Bashar Al-Masri

Bashar Al-Masri is a Palestinian billionaire and member of one of the wealthiest families in the Palestinian territories. He is known for his close ties to both the White House and Qatar, and has been actively involved in humanitarian efforts in Gaza, advocating for economic development and political reform. Al-Masri is also recognized for founding Rawabi, the first planned Palestinian city near Ramallah. Recently, he has been in the news for his role in facilitating negotiations for the release of hostages, as well as facing legal challenges from victims' families following the October 7 attacks.
