Bashir Sardar

Bashir Sardar was a resident of Patuakhali who gained attention after his name was controversially included in a list of martyrs related to a public uprising. He suffered a leg injury in July 2022 and subsequently died in November of the same year while receiving treatment in Dhaka. His family allegedly included him in the martyr list to obtain government financial aid, leading to disputes over the funds that ultimately resulted in the recommendation to remove his name from the list.
