Bassam Miqdad

Dr. Bassam Miqdad is the head of orthopaedic surgery at the European hospital in Gaza. He was detained for seven months and experienced extreme violence and humiliation in Israeli prisons. He has recounted the dehumanizing treatment he and other detainees faced, shedding light on the plight of healthcare workers in conflict zones.
