Bastián Barria

Bastián Barria is a 32-year-old civil engineer and co-founder of Desierto Vestido (Dressed Desert), an organization dedicated to raising awareness of textile waste in Chile. He regularly collects discarded clothing from the Atacama desert, where he finds many items in perfect condition. Barria's recent initiative, Re-commerce Atacama, aims to highlight the environmental crisis caused by textile waste by offering items for free (excluding shipping) to promote a more sustainable fashion model.
