Baxtiyor Ibragimov

Baxtiyor Ibragimov has recently been appointed as Uzbekistan's first ambassador to Slovakia, where he presented his credentials to President Peter Pellegrini. Prior to this role, he served as Uzbekistan's permanent representative to the United Nations from 2017 to 2023 and has held the position of ambassador to Austria since October 2023. Additionally, he was accredited as Uzbekistan's first ambassador to Albania earlier this year. His current diplomatic efforts focus on enhancing bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and Slovakia, with plans for significant political, trade, and cultural events set for 2025.
