Bayezid I

Bayezid I, also known as Bayezid the Thunderbolt, was an Ottoman Sultan who ruled from 1389 to 1402. He is best known for his aggressive expansion of the Ottoman Empire and his attempts to capture Constantinople. His reign was marked by military achievements, but he faced significant challenges, including conflicts with Timur, which culminated in his defeat at the Battle of Ankara in 1402.
