Bayo Fabiyi

Bayo Fabiyi is the Kwara State Coordinator of the Oodua Peoples Congress (OPC), a socio-cultural organization in Nigeria that advocates for the rights and interests of the Yoruba people. Recently, he was in the news after being abducted while allegedly attempting to deliver a ransom of N30 million, five motorcycles, and three bags of rice for the release of a kidnap victim in Oko-Irese, Kwara State. This incident has raised concerns about the escalating insecurity in the region, especially as Fabiyi had previously voiced his worries regarding the rise of kidnapping and violence in rural communities.
