Beat Grögli
Beat Grögli, born in 1970, has been appointed as the twelfth Bishop of St. Gallen after being confirmed by the Pope. A graduate in theology and psychology, he has served as a priest since 1998 and has been the Dompfarrer since 2013. Grögli is expected to continue the moderate path set by his predecessor, Markus Büchel, while also bringing his own perspective to contemporary issues facing the Catholic Church.
