Beatrice de Frangepan
Beatrice de Frangepan, born in 1480, was the last princess to reside at the Corvin Castle in Hunedoara. As a member of the influential Frangepan family, she was known for her beauty and her tragic love story with Ioan Corvin, the son of King Matia Corvin. After a tumultuous marriage and the loss of her children, she was forced to marry George de Brandenburg in 1509, a union that lasted only a year before her untimely death in 1510, marking the end of the Corvin lineage.
