Beatrice Laari Dammigu is a 15-year-old student from Walewale Girls’ Model Junior High School in Ghana who has gained attention for her advocacy against child marriage and drug abuse among youth. As part of the Girl Takeover Campaign organized by Plan International Ghana, she symbolically took over the office of the Minister of Youth Development and Empowerment, where she called for stronger national action to protect girls' futures and improve access to education. Dammigu also serves as the Speaker of the West Mamprusi Children’s Parliament, demonstrating her commitment to youth leadership and community empowerment.
