Beatriz Reyes

Beatriz Reyes is an environmental engineer and co-founder of Jóvenes y Cambio Climático, an organization focused on local actions to address climate change. She conducts research at the Centro de Investigación e Innovación Eléctrica, Mecánica y de la Industria (CINEMI) at the Universidad Tecnológica de Panamá, where she studies climate resilience in vulnerable communities. Beatriz believes that protecting Panama's rich biodiversity is an expression of love for her country and a crucial aspect of national identity.
