Begoña Gómez del Río

Begoña Gómez del Río is the Consejera de Inclusión of Cantabria, known for her advocacy concerning the rights and welfare of unaccompanied foreign minors. Recently, she has been in the news for reporting the number of minors her government is currently accommodating while expressing concerns over the constitutionality of the Real Decreto-Ley 2/2025 that allows for the distribution of these minors among communities.
