Behnam Shahriari

Behnam Shahriari was a commander in the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), known for his involvement in supporting resistance movements in the region. He was born in Angout, Ardabil Province, Iran, and had previously faced sanctions from the United States for his activities. On July 1, 2023, he was killed in a drone strike by Israeli forces while driving in a western province of Iran, highlighting the ongoing tensions between Iran and Israel.
