Bekzhan Abdi

Bekzhan Abdi is the head of the Labor Inspection Committee for the Zhambyl region of Kazakhstan. He has been involved in investigating workplace safety incidents, including a recent tragedy at a phosphorus factory in Taraz, where a worker suffered fatal injuries from a chemical accident. Abdi announced the formation of a special commission to assess the circumstances and causes of the incident.
