Ben Shenton
Ben Shenton is a survivor of a notorious cult known as 'The Family' in Australia, which he was a part of during his childhood. He spent the first 15 years of his life in a controlled and abusive environment under the leadership of En Hamilton Birn, who manipulated vulnerable individuals into joining her group. After being rescued by the police in 1987, Ben faced significant challenges adjusting to normal life but eventually found solace in writing and raising awareness about the dangers of cults through his book 'Life Behind the Wire' and his organization 'Rescue The Family'.
