Ben Shepherd

Ben Shepherd is an American musician and songwriter, best known as the bassist for the influential rock band Soundgarden. Born on March 20, 1968, in Santa Ana, California, Shepherd joined Soundgarden in 1990, contributing to the band's signature sound and helping to create critically acclaimed albums like 'Badmotorfinger' and 'Superunknown.' His distinctive bass playing and songwriting abilities played a significant role in the band's success during the 1990s grunge era. After Soundgarden's initial breakup in 1997, Shepherd pursued various musical projects, including his band Hater, before reuniting with Soundgarden in 2010.
