Benigno

Benigno was the husband of Josefa Antonia Cisneros Mansilla and father of the renowned San José Gregorio Hernández. His life and relationship with Josefa were marked by love and partnership, particularly evident during the tumultuous times of the Federal War in Venezuela, which forced them to flee their home. Together, they established a family and a home that would nurture one of Venezuela's most beloved figures.
