Benjamín Nieto Pliego

Benjamín Nieto Pliego was a leader within a cell of the Unión Tepito crime syndicate in the eastern region of Morelos, Mexico. He gained notoriety due to his connections with local authorities, including his brother, who served as the Secretary of Public Security in Cuautla. In late March 2023, he was arrested in Yautepec, where authorities seized weapons, drugs, and documents containing sensitive information related to local law enforcement and criminal operations.
