Benjamin Reuven Zalman-Pollon

Benjamin Reuven Zalman-Pollon, a 36-year-old Jewish-American father of three, was involved in a failed coup attempt in the Democratic Republic of Congo. He has ties to pro-Israel advocacy efforts in Washington and has family connections in Israel. Zalman-Pollon was engaged in gold mining and e-cigarette businesses in Mozambique and faced the death penalty along with others for his role in the coup.
