Benoît Queroix

Benoît Queroix, known by his stage name L’Oiseau noir, is a French artist and musician whose work bridges poetry and music. Originally from Picardy, he relocated to the French Riviera in 2022 after living in La Réunion, seeking to reconnect with family and channel personal experiences into his art. His style, reminiscent of spoken word, draws influences from the Beat Generation and French chanson. His recent album, 'Elle,' explores themes of love and loss, reflecting his emotional journey. L’Oiseau noir is also recognized for his vibrant participation in local cultural events, including his performance at the Nuits Carrées festival in Antibes, where he opened for fellow artist Ben Mazué.
