His style, reminiscent of spoken word, draws influences from the Beat Generation and French chanson. His recent album, 'Elle,' explores themes of love and loss, reflecting his emotional journey. L’Oiseau noir is also recognized for his vibrant participation in local cultural events, including his performance at the Nuits Carrées festival in Antibes, where he opened for fellow artist Ben Mazué.
