Benyomin Simons is an elderly man who, along with his wife Raizel, found themselves in a life-threatening situation during a Hanukkah festival in Bondi when a gunman opened fire nearby. They sought refuge in an unlocked van, which they credit as their 'Hanukkah miracle' for saving their lives.
