Berik Nazhmidinov

Berik Nazhmidinov, born in 1979 in Pavlodar region, Kazakhstan, is a former judge of the Supreme Court, having been appointed in November 2021 despite criticism regarding his lack of judicial experience. His career was primarily focused on financial control and internal auditing within the Ministry of Finance, which is an unusual path for a Supreme Court judge. Recently, he was relieved of his duties by the Senate following a proposal by the President, as he was appointed to head a newly established cassation court for administrative cases.
