Berina Smajić

Berina Smajić is the head of the Witness Support Department at the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina. She has been instrumental in providing psychosocial and administrative support to witnesses in war crimes cases, ensuring their needs are met before, during, and after testimonies, and stressing the necessity of preventing retraumatization of survivors as they recount their experiences.
