Bernardette

Bernardette, along with her sisters Regina and Rita, spent their entire lives at the Goldenstein convent in Elsbethn, Austria. At the age of 88, Bernardette expressed her deep dissatisfaction and disappointment after being forced to leave the convent, a place where she expected to live until her death. This decision, made by the Archdiocese of Salzburg, marked a significant breach of the promise made to the nuns that they could remain at the convent under proper conditions. Following their relocation to a care home, Bernardette and her sisters, feeling that their rights had been violated, fled back to their beloved convent, where they began to restore basic utilities and reconnect with the community that they had nurtured for decades.
