Bernardo Redín

Bernardo Redín is a former Colombian midfielder and an experienced football manager who has recently been in the news for reportedly agreeing to become the new head coach of Tauro FC in Panama. At 62 years old, Redín is recognized for being part of the Colombian national team that reached the Round of 16 in the 1990 FIFA World Cup and has also played in three Copa América tournaments. His club career was primarily with América de Cali and Deportivo Cali, where he left a significant mark over two decades, alongside a brief stint in Bulgaria. After retiring as a player, Redín transitioned into coaching, serving as a head coach and assistant in various countries, including Colombia, Venezuela, Bolivia, and Peru. His latest managerial role was with Cúcuta Deportivo in Colombia's second division.
