Berni Brea

Berni Brea is the administrator of the National Institute of Potable Water and Sewage (INAPA) in Baní, Dominican Republic. He has been at the forefront of addressing the ongoing water crisis affecting the region, recently acknowledging that 55 to 60 percent of the local population is currently experiencing severe water shortages. Brea has communicated the technical issues behind the service disruptions, including significant leaks in the main water storage tank, and has initiated plans for maintenance to restore water supply.
