Bertha Hope

Bertha Hope is an acclaimed jazz pianist, composer, and bandleader known for her extraordinary talent that emerged at a young age. Now 88, she has enjoyed a prolific career, touring and recording numerous albums while also honoring the legacy of her late husband, jazz pianist Elmo Hope. Recently, she was recognized as one of the inaugural fellows of the Jazz Legacies Fellowship, which provides significant support to elder jazz artists.
