Betty Lou Beets

Betty Lou Beets was an American woman infamous for her involvement in the mysterious disappearances and deaths of her husbands. After the disappearance of her fifth husband, Jimmy Don Beets, she was charged and convicted of his murder, with the investigation revealing that she had previously been married multiple times, with several husbands also vanishing under suspicious circumstances. Her case gained national attention, leading to her execution in 2000, making her one of the few women to receive the death penalty in Texas.
