Beverley Di Mercurio is a young woman who was diagnosed with stage 3 triple negative breast cancer at the age of 26. Prior to her diagnosis, she led a healthy and active lifestyle, and her sudden illness turned her world upside down. Di Mercurio underwent six months of chemotherapy, including the costly immunotherapy drug Keytruda, which amounted to nearly $63,000. Thankfully, she is now officially cancer-free and advocates for better access to treatment options for women facing similar health challenges.
