Beverly Albrecht

Beverly Albrecht, a member of the Cayuga Nation, is a residential school survivor who attended the Mohawk Institute from 1966 to 1970. She returned to the recently reopened museum on the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, sharing her harrowing experiences of abuse endured during her childhood at the institution, which was one of Canada's longest-running residential schools.
