Beverly Goodman-Chernov

Beverly Goodman-Chernov is a geoarchaeologist at the Leon H. Charney School of Marine Sciences at the University of Haifa, specializing in natural disasters and their impacts on human societies. Her research examines how climatic events, such as volcanic eruptions, have historically shaped civilizations and influenced social and political changes, particularly during the late Roman and Byzantine periods.
