Bhagwat Singh

Bhagwat Singh is a Dalit groom whose wedding procession, or baraat, was violently interrupted in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, when around 40 upper caste men objected to the loud music being played. During the altercation, he was forcibly pulled off his horse, and several guests were injured in the ensuing attack.
