Bienvenida Altagracia Gutiérrez Minaya, known as 'Bienva,' is a pioneering Dominican forensic odontologist who recently returned from retirement to assist in the identification of victims from the Jet Set tragedy. With over thirty years of experience, she leads a team of forensic dentists at the National Institute of Forensic Pathology, playing a crucial role in identifying approximately 80% of the deceased through dental analysis. Gutiérrez, the first forensic odontologist in the Dominican Republic, emphasizes her commitment to her country, stating that her sense of duty drives her to continue her work in such a critical time.
