Biku is a member of a group that was involved in a controversial initiative where they interacted with individuals in the Troitsky Lavra monastery complex, who, despite not being clergy, suggested the creation of Telegram channels for communication. He reported that his group was subsequently divided and instructed to sign forms from a Russian state bank, receiving debit cards in exchange for persuading their congregants to vote against pro-Western leaders in Moldova's upcoming referendum.
