Biljana Simakoska

Biljana Simakoska, a 30-year-old lawyer residing in New Jersey, has a deep connection to her Macedonian roots and the music of the duo DNK, which has been a significant part of her life since childhood. Having moved to the United States at the age of nine, she regularly returns to Macedonia each summer and has a special fondness for New York City, where she previously lived and worked. Recently, she garnered attention by posting a tribute video of DNK's performance in Times Square, motivated by a desire to express solidarity and love following a tragic incident in Kocani. Her initiative resonated within the Macedonian diaspora and beyond, highlighting the emotional ties that connect people through music.
