Bill Demory

Bill Demory, a former quarterback for the New York Jets in the 1970s, passed away at the age of 74 after a battle with prostate cancer and Parkinson’s disease. He had a notable college career at the University of Arizona, where he threw for over 3,200 yards and 28 touchdowns. Demory played for the Jets during a challenging period for the team, starting in three of the six games he appeared in during the 1973 season. After his football career, he transitioned into education, becoming an economics professor at various colleges in Arizona.
