Bill Hicks (1961–1994) was a renowned American comedian and social critic known for his provocative and controversial humor. He gained a cult following for his insightful commentary on social issues and human behavior. After being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 1993, Hicks continued to perform and speak out about the disease before his untimely death in 1994.
