Bill Townsend

Bill Townsend is the senior vice president of INPEX, a Japanese multinational oil and gas company, which operates the Ichthys LNG project in Australia, the largest overseas investment by Japan. He has been vocal about the need for Australia to maintain its role as a reliable supplier of liquefied natural gas (LNG) to Asia, especially in light of recent government proposals that may affect energy security for Asian partners.
