Birkir Freyr Guðbrandsson

Birkir Freyr Guðbrandsson is a talented Icelandic chef, recently appointed as the head chef of BRASA, a new dining and event venue set to open in Kópavogur. With a culinary career that began as an apprentice at Kjallaranum and included significant experience at various renowned restaurants, Birkir brings a passion for cooking and a keen interest in wines, having completed his Level 3 certification with the Wine & Spirit Education Trust in London. At BRASA, he will oversee the kitchen operations and develop the restaurant's menu, focusing on South American-inspired dishes cooked with live fire.
