Biruta Stafecka

Biruta Stafecka is a Latvian artist known for her vibrant paintings that capture the essence of summer moods and lyrical feelings, reminiscent of the poetry of Aleksandrs Čaks. Since 1988, she has participated in exhibitions both in Latvia and abroad, initially focusing on textile art before embracing painting in oil and acrylic techniques. In addition to her artistic pursuits, Stafecka teaches drawing at the Riga Art and Media Technical School in the Textile Arts department.
