Bojan Pečar

Bojan Pečar was a notable Serbian musician and a member of the influential rock band Ekatarina Velika (EKV), known for his unique sound and contributions to the Yugoslav rock scene. Born on March 22, 1960, in Belgrade, he began his musical journey at a young age, eventually forming several bands, including BG 5 and Via Talas, before joining EKV, which gained immense popularity in the 1980s. Despite his musical successes, Pečar faced personal struggles and ultimately passed away at the young age of 38, reportedly from a heart attack while waiting for the subway, marking a tragic end to a life that had a profound impact on the music of the former Yugoslavia.
