Bokero

Bokero was a spiritual leader known for leading the Maji Maji Rebellion in the early 20th century, which protested against German colonial rule in present-day Tanzania. His leadership was pivotal during the insurrection that arose from the oppressive practices of forced cotton cultivation, ultimately leading to significant conflict and one of the most tragic massacres in African history.
