Bola Ajibola

Bola Ajibola was a distinguished Nigerian lawyer, jurist, and former Attorney General of the Federation who served from 1985 to 1991. He was also a judge at the International Court of Justice from 1991 to 1994. Ajibola was known for his significant contributions to Nigeria's legal framework, including the revision of Nigerian laws and his philanthropic efforts, which included refusing a salary as Minister of Justice to support those in need. He passed away on April 8, 2023, at the age of 89, and was celebrated posthumously for his integrity, public service, and lasting impact on the legal community.
