Boonson Phadklang is a Thai general who currently serves as the Commander of the 2nd Army Region. Recently, he has been in the news for expressing gratitude to Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul for granting the military authority to make decisions regarding border management with Cambodia, including opening checkpoints and constructing border fences amid rising tensions.
