Boris Tashimov

Boris Tashimov is a seasoned Russian transport official, recently appointed as the Deputy Minister of Transport, where he is expected to oversee digitalization efforts within the ministry. Born in 1986 in Zheleznovodsk, he graduated from MGIMO with a degree in world economics and later specialized in transport processes at the Admiral Ushakov Maritime State University. With extensive experience in strategic development and port infrastructure management, Tashimov previously served as Deputy Head of Rosmorflot, the federal agency responsible for maritime and river transport.
