Borja Gómez Rus was a promising young Spanish motorcycle racer from San Javier, Murcia. Born in 2003, he quickly rose through the ranks of motorcycle racing, showcasing exceptional talent and determination. He gained recognition in the national championships, winning the Spanish Superbike title in the Supersport category and finishing as a runner-up in the 1,000cc category. His noteworthy performances led to opportunities in Moto2, where he competed at a young age. Tragically, he passed away at just 20 years old following a fatal accident during practice at the Magny-Cours circuit in France, where he was competing as the leader of the European Stock Championship.
