Boško Iliev

Dr. Boško Iliev is a 60-year-old marathon swimmer and sports medicine doctor from Kavadarci, North Macedonia. He has been actively participating in swimming marathons since 2001 and recently made headlines by swimming across the artificial lake in Prilep, completing a distance of 4 kilometers in 1 hour, 37 minutes, and 8 seconds. This achievement marked his 168th marathon swim across 14 countries in the Balkans and was part of his personal mission to promote the natural beauty of Macedonia and a healthy lifestyle. His passion for swimming and nature aims to encourage tourism and highlight the natural resources of his homeland.
