Boštjan Močnik
Brigadier Boštjan Močnik, born in July 1974, has been appointed as the new Chief of the General Staff of the Slovenian Armed Forces, succeeding General Lieutenant Robert Glavaš. Močnik, a career soldier since 1998, previously served as the Commander of the Slovenian Armed Forces and has held various significant roles, including Commander of the 1st Brigade and Chief of the Strategic Planning Department at the General Staff. He holds a Master's degree in Defense Studies and has received numerous military awards and honors throughout his career.
