Boti Boobe

Boti Boobe was the patriarch of the Boobe family and a prominent figure in the Mama-ini area, involved in agriculture and timber before the region's gold rush. His attempts to secure mining rights for his family led to a conflict with Volcanic Resources Suriname NV, which intensified after his passing in 2015, leaving his family in a struggle for their traditional lands.
